Our Leadership

Scott and Dionne Davis

Scott and Dionne Davis.jpgScott and Dionne have been married for many years and have three beautiful daughters, Cynthia, Gabby and Kate.

For the past nineteen years, the Davis’s have led the Queens Region of the New York City Church of Christ, which now has over 300 members. The region includes disciples in all stages of life, married, single, campus and teens. They have also developed ministries to meet the needs of the Korean, Chinese and Spanish populations in Queens.

The Davis’s truly love people; and have worked hard to seek and to save the lost, and to keep the saved faithful and growing. Through Bible study, an emphasis on relationships, and small groups, the retention rate among the disciples in Queens is a strong 75%. They have trained many leaders both for small groups, and in the full-time ministry. In addition to their work in New York, they also mentored two of the Caribbean churches for five years (2003-2008).

In addition to his gifts as an Evangelist, Scott is an outstanding musician and vocalist. He has opened for such artists as Patti Labelle, Smokie Robinson and Empyreal Strings Orchestra. Recently he performed in Atlanta for the King family during MLK Day celebrations. In 2001, he wrote a song, “Courage Under Fire” which was given to families of the 9/11 tragedy. Along with her gifts of teaching and training women, Dionne is also an excellent event organizer and administrator. Dionne is a wonderful mother, and their girls are a delight.
